Daytrip to the Disko Island

We begin our journey by sailing from Ilulissat towards the town of Qeqertarsuaq. Onboard the boat you can enjoy a small breakfast and a cup of coffee whilst taking in the view of the mesmerizing sea and enormous icebergs. Once we arrive in Qeqertarsuaq you will be able to explore the townscape. Hereafter, we will hike together towards the breathtaking Kuannit. During the hike, our guide will talk about the unique nature. From Kuannit we will enjoy a lunch from local ingredients overlooking the sea and rock formations.

From the town of Qeqertarsuaq we will sail back to Ilulissat. Onboard you will have option to enjoy a cup of coffee and a piece of cake whilst letting the long day sink in.

Good to know:

The trip to Qeqertarsuaq is on open sea, there can therefore be a risk of slightly higher swell, than our other excursions. We suggest bringing seasickness preparations if you previously have experienced being easily seasick.

We recommend bringing a backpack and water bottle as well as wearing sensible clothing. Qeqertarsuaq is located 80 km from Ilulissat, and the weather might be significantly different than in town. It is therefore recommended that you check the weather forecast in the morning.
