Icefjord

Best seen from the fells and the sea

The Ilulissat icefjord is one of the most unique places in the world. Named “Ilulissat Kangerlua” or "Kangia" in Greenlandic, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the most productive places of ice on Earth. The massive icebergs are a sight to behold, as they float through the fjord into the Disko Bay and get stuck in front of Ilulissat, before they continue their journey up north.
