Kayaking in Oqaatsut

The tour starts by Albatros Arctic Circles office by Hotel Hvide Falk, where our kayaking instructor will give a thorough safety instruction, introduce us to the gear, and we will dress in our top-quality Kokatat drysuits. After this, we will go by boat to Oqaatsut and sail along huge icebergs drifting along the shoreline. 

Once we arrive in Oqaatsut we will receive the last instructions on land before heading out on the water in our tandem-kayaks. We row in the beautiful bay where Oqaatsut is located, and enjoy the view of the mountains, icebergs - and maybe if we get very lucky, we might see a whale! We will end by Restaurant H8 Explorer again, where lunch is served made from local ingredients, before heading back by boat to Ilulissat.
